The remit of the governing board
It is stated in the Governance Handbook that all boards have three core functions:
- Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
- Holding leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and its pupils, and the performance management of staff
- Overseeing the financial performance of the organisation and making sure its money is well spent
The constitution of our board is

The Governing Body is responsible for keeping the school's policies up to date. There are a great number of these concerning teaching and learning, safeguarding and staffing as well as the physical aspects of the school and it's finances. Those most pertinent to parents have been identified and can be found on the school website. If you have any concerns that are not covered by these policies, please contact the school.
